Fates and Furies (Lauren Groff)- Really liked, wanted to love. Groff is one of my favorite authors (Monsters of Templeton, Arcadia) so was maybe expecting too much. Appreciated the writing and the story, but wanted to fall in love with the world, and I didn’t.
Euphoria (Lily King)- Loved. Small, deep, lovely. Checked all the boxes for me: good writing, great characters, world I could fall into.
